Kettle Chips hires Isobel

LONDON - Isobel has won the £1.5m Kettle Chips creative account after a pitch against Dye Holloway Murray and Quiet Storm.

First Independent previously worked on the account on a project basis, creating the brand's first television work in October last year.

The review came following the appointment of Andrew Slamin as Kettle Chips marketing director last year. Slamin said that Isobel has ‘demonstrated a real understanding of the brand'.

It is thought that the next campaign will focus on developing the Kettle Chips brand, as the premium potato crisp market becomes more crowded.

Earlier this year, Kettle Chips launched a range of smaller packets, as it sought to shift consumer perceptions of its brand from being for only special occasions to a more everyday product. Variants in the range include Sea Salt and Balsamic Vinegar, Honey Barbeque and No Added Salt.
