The Surrey racecourse took 602 bookings in April 2011, a figure which increased to 963 for the same month this year.
Kempton has has recently hosted corporates such as Imperial Tobacco, Cisco, EMC, Teletext Holidays. It also exceeded its budgeted turnover target for April 2012 by 9%.
This month it is also unveiling its refurbished private hospitality boxes, which feature new plush carpeting, plasma screens and renovated private balconies.
Simon Beynon, director of sales at Kempton Park, said: "We believe the increase in corporate hospitality bookings is the result of a couple of things: over the last year, we have been building relationships with industry experts and hospitality agencies to understand their requirements and the requirements of their clients where applicable. Over the last twelve months, we have also been working incredibly hard to put Kempton Park on the map, organising fam trips to build our reputation and awareness of the racecourse’s facilities, as well as giving agents the chance to experience our products.
"We have taken a very proactive approach, keeping existing customers aware of new packages and refurbishments, and improving our food offering along with the review of our corporate hospitality packages at the start of 2012, to offer customers more variety."
The racecourse is set in more than 300 acres of countryside, 16 miles from central London. It holds corporate team days, meetings and client entertaining, as well as private milestone celebrations.
