LONDON - Keep Britain Tidy is hunting a clean-living celebrity to promote its cause.

The campaign, which aims to fight litter and make Britain a better place to live, has taken out a job ad in national newspapers. The celebrity applicant will need to hate litter, have a passion for cleaner, greener places and be willing to donate two days a year to endorse the campaign.

Past celebrity ambassadors have included Abba, Atomic Kitten and Morcambe and Wise.

The organisation behind the initiative has also rebranded, changing its name back to Keep Britain Tidy from Encams, which it introduced in 2001. It has a fresh logo and intends to focus on improving local environments - not just reducing litter.
