The work will aim to position the charity as the consumer's trusted source when it comes to advice and information about the responsible use of alcohol, generating talkability via activities that challenge consumer drinking habits and lead to changes in behaviour.

Drinkaware has also announced two internal appointments.Eleanor McDonald takes on the role of adult strategy manager. Having previously worked at Keep Britain Tidy and, more recently, Parentline Plus, McDonald's brief at Drinkaware is to develop campaigns that engage the 25+ audiences. Siobhan McCann joins as communications manager from the recently merged Age Concern and Help the Aged.
