Karen Millen appoints Syzygy to data account

LONDON - High street clothes retailer Karen Millen has appointed data agency Syzygy to handle its customer database.

Syzygy will profile and segment Karen Millen’s data and contribute to the development of a direct marketing strategy.

Emma Bott, spokesperson at Karen Millen, said: Our aim is to unlock customer insight and build an online marketing strategy that has customer differentiation at its heart."

Gareth Phillips, managing director of Syzygy, said: An appointment like this reflects our data analysis credentials, an area that we’ve been investing in for the last two years.  We will be working with the retail brand to elevate its customer engagement experience.

Syzygy recently won the business of liqueur brand Jagermeister. In April the company hired several new senior staff members, including Adrian Jarvis from MRM, former Reading Room project manager Will Green and Julian Clark the former JPMH head of production.

There was no formal pitch process.
