A large shipping container complete with signage that reads ‘Danger,’ ‘Predatory Livestock,’ and ‘Trained Handlers Only’ was positioned in the centre of the station last Friday (5 June).
It attracted intrigue from commuters and tourists alike, with many seen peeking inside the container in an attempt to get a view of its contents.
All was revealed this morning (8 June) when four Velociraptors emerged from the container. Two can be seen outside of its main doors, meanwhile another two are positioned on top of the roof.
Universal Pictures has placed signage on the station floor that invites passers-by to take selfies using the hashtag #JurassicWaterloo. The image will then appear on the big screen at Waterloo station.
The stunt is accompanied by Jurassic Waterloo signage, and images of the raptors in their natural environment can be found on the station’s walls. There is also signage that warns people about the presence of the dinosaurs throughout the station.
