Joshua hires Craik Jones duo Rae and Parkes

LONDON - Rebecca Rae, former creative director at Craik Jones and latterly Proximity, has joined Joshua G2 in the new role of creative director of the agency's brand response clients.

She is joined by former Craik head of planning Caroline Parkes, who becomes Joshua's head of response planning.

Joshua said the appointments were in response to "growing business from new and existing clients".

Rae has been freelancing for Joshua G2, whose clients include Allianz, Nestle, GSK, M&G, P&G, Nicklelodeon and Help the Aged. She took redundancy from Proximity following the merger of the two agencies.

At Craik Jones, the pair were multi-award winning, scooping industry plaudits for Craik clients including Gordon's Gin, First Direct and Refuge.

Nick Hoadley, Joshua G2, said "They are both heavyweight talents within their respective disciplines, but as a team they bring the driving force behind Craik Jones' 'great work that works.'
