The shake-up will see Cindy Gallop promoted from president of BBH US to the new role of chairman and chief marketing officer of BBH New York, with group responsibility for promoting the BBH brand globally.
Jones and Gallop will be joined by Kevin Roddy, whose appointment as executive creative director of BBH New York was revealed last week. Roddy joins from Fallon New York, where he held the same title. Roddy replaced Kevin McKeon, who left BBH in February after three years with the agency.
Jones and Gallop are each veterans of BBH. Jones was the agency's first graduate trainee, joining in 1987, and rising through the ranks to become managing director of the London office in 1998.
Gallop joined in 1989 and has worked at the London and Singapore offices of the agency before setting up BBH New York in 1998. Since setting up shop in Manhattan, the agency has won clients including Levi's, Unilever and Diageo.
Gallop will report to Simon Sherwood, the chief operating of BBH Group who is based in London.
According to Sherwood: "Cindy has done a remarkable job in launching and marketing BBH in the States. She is the one person in our organisation who can step up to the challenge of marketing the very real differences between us and our competitors."
Also going Stateside is Joe Da Silva, who has been promoted from the role of operations director at BBH London to general manager of BBH New York, where he will report to Jones.
BBH London will continue to be run by the existing management team of Jim Carroll, chairman; John O'Keeffe, executive creative director; Derek Robson, managing director; and Guy Murphy, deputy chairman.
The agency is 49% owned by French advertising holding company Publicis Groupe.
