New long-form ad shows actor's struggle to transition into a fashion designer

Breaking into a new industry is tough, even—and sometimes especially—when you’re at the top of your game.  While an accomplished and respected actor, Oscar nominee John Malkovich began his career as a costume designer. But he had trouble getting fashionistas to take him seriously as he pursued a lifelong dream of creating his own clothing brand. Now Squarespace has created a new website for Malkovich’s fashion line, as well as a brand film detailing his struggles that debuted Tuesday.
