John Lewis appoints CACI

LONDON - Data supplier CACI has been appointed by the John Lewis Partnership to provide location analysis tools for its John Lewis department stores.

The company will provide forecasting tools to support the retailer's marketing strategy throughout the UK.

Customer and store transaction data will also be managed by CACI. It will develop catchment models using its Spatial Modeller software. CACI’s ACORN consumer classifications will be used for planning and database management.

John Lewis appointed CACI after a tender process. John Lewis has two relocations and nine new department stores planned over the next six years.

Ian Thurman, head of location planning at CACI, said: "We are pleased to have been awarded this contract. John Lewis Partnership values the customer service ethos that we strive for at CACI."
