Traditionally spread across a number of the capital's venues, this year's Jewellery Week at Somerset House will showcase jewellery brands and designer talent and will feature exclusive launches, designer showcases, jewellery fashion shows, emerging designer platforms and open workshops, as well as talks by some of the biggest names in the industry.
The new location for the festival represents the events fifth year and it will also host the consumer show Treasure, and the jewellery pavilion Essence.
Della Tinsley, director of Jewellery Week, said: "We are proud to be invited to host the centrepiece of Jewellery Week at Somerset House. Treasure has always been in inspirational venues since the first show in 2008 at the Tower of London, so this is the right move for Jewellery Week and Treasure. The new venue will enable us to expand Essence the ethical jewellery pavilion further and create other specialist pavilions, alongside the exciting introduction of the trade days."
Emma Barrow, head of events Somerset House, said: "We are extremely excited to be hosting Jewellery Week and very proud to add what is undoubtedly the foremost jewellery festival in the UK to our portfolio of events this year."
