Creventive will offer creative event services for corporate and private clients. Collins-Down will run the business as creative director, while his husband Guy will act as managing director.
Collins-Down told Event: "Creventive was born because I wanted to give something back to the industry. I’ve always wanted to start my own company at some point so felt the time was right to just go for it."
Creventive’s USP is to be transparent with its clients in regards to costs. "I’ve been frustrated at how much of clients’ budgets actually goes into the event and feel that this stifles creativity," Collins-Down explained.
The business aims to pass supplier prices onto clients without inflation, and charge only for personal services.
The agency will celebrate its launch with a party on 25 March. Collins-Down, who has previously worked for florist Lavender Green and agency Fisher Productions, said he has already received interest from his "loyal client base", which he has been working on expanding.
"Creventive will very much focus on experiential – that’s where the market is moving and we want to move with it," he said. "Lots of people are on this route, but that will only push us to be more creative and do something that hasn’t been done before."
