The event will feature masterclasses on how to make the perfect alcoholic concoction. The classes will be filmed and uploaded to the YouTube channel instantly.

Passers-by can make requests for drinks to be featured, as can social media users with the hashtag #CocktailRequest. Suggestions can range from classic drinks, favourite ingredients, or even an inspiring photo.

The channel also announced that ‘a few choice celebrities’ will be making an appearance, including mixologist Simone Caporale, DJ BBQ and Gennaro and Jonny from the Craft Beer Channel.

The event will be open in the station’s pop-up space from 9am-7pm, Monday to Friday. Guests are encouraged to watch, however nothing will be available to purchase and there are severe restrictions on the distribution of alcohol in the station.

Old Street station was transformed into a for short-term lets in May this year, following a partnership between Transport for London and retail space marketplace Appear Here.
