M/SIX has hired iProspect’s UK chief executive, Jack Swayne, as chief executive for UK and EMEA.
Swayne was only named chief executive of iProspect in January, but has spent his whole career at Dentsu Aegis Network and has been at iProspect since 2013. He became its chief strategy and analytics officer in 2015 and managing director in 2017.
Swayne will leave iProspect at the end of June and join M/SIX at the start of September. He will report to global chief executive Jess Burley.
He replaces UK chief executive Alistair MacCallum, who is moving to Kinetic to take the same role. Kinetic now sits within Group M, after WPP closed its mini-holding company Tenthavenue, giving it a close association with M/SIX, which is part-owned by WPP and is part of Group M.
Burley said: "Jack’s expertise in strategic planning, digital and analytics brings the type of expertise all of our clients crave. In addition, his experience in overseas markets makes him the right choice to lead our growth across EMEA.
"I would like to take a moment to thank Alistair for the work he has done while at M/SIX. We are delighted that he won’t be going too far away and that we will continue to work with him in his new capacity as CEO of Kinetic."
Swayne said M/SIX had "many proof points that clearly differentiates itself in the market".
He added: "I believe it’s positioned for continued growth in an industry that continues to change at speed.
"Brands need full-service integrated teams, set up within their own business, that can move as fast as life. M/SIX is already delivering this for a number of incredible brands. The opportunity is to both lead and accelerate this approach in the market."
Denstu Aegis Network said it would make an announcement on Swayne's successor in due course.
Matthew Platts, chief commercial officer at DAN UK & Ireland, said: "Jack leaves us with sincere thanks for his commitment and contribution over the years and we wish him the very best for his next role."
