The German office will be led by managing director Jens Meyer, who joins the company after holding managing director roles for a number of agencies including Informa Business Communication and IVBC, a subsidiary of Informa.
Meyer, who has more than 20 years of experience, has worked with a number of high-profile brands including KPMG, Intel, Ikea, Esprit and Hugo Boss. In his new position he will report to Julian Pullan, Jack Morton’s EMEA president.
"Jack Morton is an industry-leading agency in all the countries in which it has established itself and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to extend the agency’s creative and strategic vision to brands in Germany," Meyer said.
Meyer will be supported by director of marketing and sales development Dino Celjo, whose previous roles have included director of marketing at the Frankfurter Allgemeine Forum, as well as head of marketing at Informa Virtual Business Communication, a subsidiary of conference and seminar provider Euroforum.
Pullan said: "This is an incredibly exciting launch for us and I’m delighted Jack Morton is able to become part of the marketing community in Germany. We’re passionate about connecting brands with people through innovative and market-leading ideas and I know that with Jens at the helm we will be able to continue to build on this ethos in our work with brands in Germany."
