ITV1 trumps MasterChef final with 6.8 million Champions League audience

LONDON - 'Uefa Champions League' on ITV1 was last night's most watched programme in the 9pm-10pm slot, as viewers tuned in to watch Manchester United face Bayern Munich.

BBC One's 'MasterChef: The Final Three' came a close second.

'Uefa Champions League,' which started at 7.30pm averaged 6.8 million between 9pm and 10pm, taking a 26.3% share, ahead of 'MasterChef: The Final Three', which earned 5.6 million viewers, and a 21.8% of ratings.

One-off series special 'Embarrassing Bodies: Charlotte's Story' on Channel 4 drew in 2.4 million viewers, 9.2% of the audience, while  'NCIS' on Five managed 1.8 million viewers and a 7% share.

BBC Two's documentary 'Who Needs Fathers?' had 900,000 viewers, a 3.4% share.
