ITV offers catch-up service to Virgin Media subscribers

LONDON - ITV has signed a four-year syndication deal with Virgin Media, giving Virgin Media TV customers access to its on-demand programming.

ITV offers catch-up service to Virgin Media subscribers

Virgin Media customers will be able to watch catch-up shows for eight days and archive programming across ITV1, 2, 3, 4.

The move follows a deal late last year to make ITV on-demand programming available to BT Vision customers.

ITV has been promoting its catch-up service with a significant TV presence highlighting its new name ITV Player and the programming available on the service.

The new agreement with Virgin Media will give ITV its largest potential on-demand audience, with 3.5m Virgin customers able to view it within Virgin Media's TV Choice section.

Virgin Media TV subscribers will also be able to watch ITV content online via their computers.
