The ITC received 22 responses to its first consultation, which aimed to find the balance between the benefits and drawbacks of cross-promotion of television channels to the viewer.
The consultation aims to look at a number of cross-promotion issues, including limiting cross-promotion and promotion to 1.5 minutes an hour during peak viewing hours on Channel 4, Channel 5 and ITV1.
When the consultation was launched, ITV partners Carlton and Granada were not allowed to promote their digital service ITV Digital, then called ONdigital, on ITV1, then called ITV.
However, a huge overhaul of the commercial TV platform and the renaming of ONdigital to ITV Digital has meant the digital service can now be promoted on the terrestrial channel without infringing the old rules.
The ITC said responses to the consultation should be returned by Friday, November 9.
