IPT appoints Consodata's Bannister to boost list rentals

LONDON - Interactive Prospect Targeting is strengthening its list rental division with the appointment of Consodata's sales director, Dan Bannister, as direct group sales director.

Bannister has more than 13 years' experience in direct marketing business and media. Prior to Consodata, he held the roles of general manager of the publishing division at First Index and sales manager at Thompson Directories.

Martin Kiersnowski, chief operations officer of IPT, said: "Dan's recent experience in running the list sales divisions of Consodata make him an ideal choice to head up some of our major product lines and guide existing and potential DM clients to improving their marketing ROI."

IPT claims that the appointment comes at a time when the company's email and postal list sales are experiencing an unprecedented level of growth. The IPT Direct file currently holds 3.2m email, 1.5m postal and 0.6m SMS records and is growing by 100,000 new records a month, according to the company.
