IPC TX promotes Bell to publisher role

LONDON - IPC TX has promoted Natalie Bell, associate publisher on TV Times and TV & Satellite Week, to publisher of What's on TV and compact listings title TV Easy, to replace Amy Culligan.

Bell, who starts her new role on October 1, takes over at IPC's TV listings division from Culligan, who is leaving to pursue a number of unknown ventures.

Culligan moved from IPC SouthBank to IPC TX to take on the role of publisher of What's on TV in March 2005. She was publisher of the home interest group at SouthBank.

Bell joined IPC TX in 2002 as brand and business development assistant for the group. She was promoted to associate publisher on TV Times, TV & Satellite Week and Soaplife in 2005. In addition to her new role, Bell will be responsible for the TX listings department.

Charlie Meredith, publishing director of What's on TV and TV Easy, said: "Natalie has keen commercial instincts and strong publishing skills, and will also bring vital in-depth knowledge of the TV magazine consumer to the role."

Bell said: "With both titles operating in a highly competitive marketplace, I look forward to working on all the challenges that lie ahead."
