
The deal sees Hubert Burda acquire the brands – currently published within the IPC Southbank portfolio – with immediate effect. Wedding is a glossy for brides-to-be, while Wedding Flowers is the only UK consumer magazine to focus solely on bridal flowers.
IPC confirmed there will be no interruption to the publishing schedule of the magazines. All advertising and editorial staff, including Catherine Westwood, the editor of both titles, will transfer to Hubert Burda's High Holborn office with immediate effect.
Linda Swidenban, publishing director, will remain at IPC as publisher for InStyle, Woman & Home and Essentials magazines.
Hubert Burda Media UK publishes titles such as Love It!, Full House!, Your Home, Essential Kitchen Bathroom Bedroom Magazine and Essential Kitchen & Bathroom Business.
