IPA DataPresenter allows anyone to access top line data from the TouchPoints1 survey, released in 2006, while subscribers can also access similar data from Touch-Points2, the new survey, released earlier this month, which charts the media consumption of 5,400 representative British adults.
The website, www.datapresenter.co.uk, will not contain extensive data, but will offer agencies and owners an easy-to-use snapshot of the TouchPoints planning research tool.
Data can be presented in one of three ways: according to half-hour analysis, time spent on an activity or details of the top percentage of people carrying out a particular activity.
Belinda Beeftink, senior media researcher at the IPA, said: "The way of accessing TouchPoints is to use software from various bureaux, but the feedback we've had from TouchPoints1 is that people have to be trained on how to use it and it can be complex."
