
Richter joins from Karlitz & Company, which specialises in forging partnerships and delivering events for high-end brands.
Here he worked as director of partnership marketing, and is credited with creating the event agency's sponsorship division and securing more than 65 sponsorship and media deals for culinary festivals over a two-year period.
During his almost three-year tenure at the company, Richter was also involved in creating event programmes for financial services clients across food, wine, sports and entertainment.
Prior to joining Karlitz & Company, Richter worked as a marketing executive within the music industry for 10 years.
He also sits on the advisory board of AboutFest, a US-based consulting company that produces an industry conference for those involved in producing music, food, wine and film festivals known as FestForward.
Richter reports in to Scott Cullather, Invnt’s global managing partner, and will work out of the agency’s New York headquarters.
