Session: AEO Operations Masterclass: optimising the show floor layout to strengthen the visitor experience

The Association of Event Organisers (AEO) will be hosting three sessions on the afternoon of the first day as part of Association day. This one featuring Jason Popp, vice president of Global Experience Specialists (GES) will demonstrate how video technology can be used to reveal vital information about how visitors interact with your show.
Day 2: Wednesday 7 March
Session: Awards Day: more than just a one-night stand
Time: 10.30 - 11.15am

If you’re in the business of organising awards ceremonies then you’ll want to hear from UBM Awards and Partnerships chief executive Caroline Jackson Levy. Event attended one of her sessions last year and left feeling very inspired. In this seminar she will explore ways in which clients can get more value from their awards sponsorship.
Session: Olympic Impact: what happens post summer? Is there still a Christmas?

No one is quite sure what kind of legacy the London Games will leave on the event industry. This session will discuss what organisers can expect post Games with experts like Jon Tibbs, owner of JTA, sharing their previous Olympic experiences.
Day 3: Thursday 8 March
Session: Samsung Galaxy S2 launch: the UK’s first Twitter tour
Time: 11.00 - 11.25am
Location: Best of British Theatre
Slice creative director Paul Stanway and strategy director Rob Sellers will showcase how they launched Samsung’s latest handset to a technology-savvy audience.
Session: Olympic WOW: going official or unofficial for your Olympic hospitality
Time: 14.30 - 15.30pm
Location: Business and Corporate Theatre
If you haven’t already booked hospitality for the Games, and are looking to do so, this session will give you an insight into what options are still available. Speakers include Andrew Owen, programme director of Team 2012, Zanine Adams, head of event solutions and UK sales for London & Partners, and Mike Kershaw chairman of the Concerto Group.
