The pre-tax profit is more than double the profit it made in 2003 and comes after substantial investment in technology and product development.
Its 2004 turnover totalled 拢8.4m, an increase of 37% over 2003.
The company had over 拢5m in cash at the end of 2004 after raising 拢3.9m of new capital, after expenses, in the AIM flotation.
Colin Lloyd, non-executive chairman, said: "IPT stands at the point where internet advertising and direct marketing converge.
"These two forms of communication are powerful in their own right; combined they have spawned the new discipline of email marketing, which is now one of the fastest growing communication channels in the world."
