It comes as the organisation, which caters for the hospitality, passenger transport, events, and travel and tourism sectors, has successfully secured funding to review and update the qualification.
Both the Institute of Event Management and People 1st will oversee the project’s progress and outcomes, which begun in April and will run until January 2014.
The organisations will be looking to event professionals for their input to ensure the review captures current practice in the industry.
Individuals can take part in the consultation either as part of a working group, which will meet about four times over the period, or through online consultations.
