Jaffray, who will be responsible for leading Inferno's strategic output, joins Inferno after four years at Chemistry.

In his previous role, he won several effectiveness and creative awards for integrated and digital campaigns including Diageo, Unilever and Transport for London.

Prior to working at Chemistry, Robin was planning director at McCann Erickson on Microsoft, MSN and Xbox, and FCB where he worked on domestic and global campaigns for Palm and Compacq.

Jaffray said: "I'm delighted to be joining Inferno. Chances like this don't come along very often. Inferno is a renaissance agency - innately integrated, with the soul of a hot shop.

They've made a tremendous investment in creative and now planning is being given the opportunity to help unlock that potential further. It's my ambition to build a planning capability of forensic client problem-solving turned through ideas with the
scale and energy to get traction in the culture."
