The 49th Cannes Lions Festival will take place on June 16-22 in the famous French Riviera resort. The festival is the largest of its kind, with around 9,000 delegates attending. Last year, it looked as if the infamous Cannes hobnobbing would cease, as spiralling costs led to suggestions it should be moved to either Barcelona or Vienna. However, Cannes won out in the end.
