Industri Management is working with administrators in charge of Battersea Power Station to ensure it is "business as usual" at the iconic south London events venue.

Despite the building in December, and Industri being forced to cancel its at short notice, a company spokesperson said the venue is very much open for business.

"Activity did stop before Christmas, as clients did not want to pay for bookings when there was uncertainty over the future of the power station, but this was a temporary situation."

In a statement sent to Event, the administrators said they are "adopting a business as usual approach to maximise site income during the administration period and would hope that clients continue to make use of this iconic building to host their upcoming events. 2012 promises to be an exciting year for the Power Station, with a healthy pipeline of events already booked for the venue."

Industri confirmed that the venue has already had a large number of enquiries for 2012.
