Inbox Media execs launch Squeeze Digital agency

LONDON - Nik Margolis and Cameron Brewer, formerly of digital direct marketing firm Inbox Media, have set up a new email marketing firm called Squeeze Digital that aims to counteract the 'low cost high volume' strategies employed by some clients.

Founders Margolis and Brewer, along with Simon Dean, are collectively responsible for a range of direct and digital marketing campaigns for brands including Royal Mail, the BBC, NTL, Esure, Volkswagen, BMW and Universal Pictures.

Margolis, formerly client services director at Inbox Media, takes up the role of managing director. Brewer, who was previously head of creative at Inbox takes up the role of creative director, and Dean becomes technical director, after working as a team leader at .Net Architect.

Margolis said: "Having spent so long working in traditional direct marketing, it is frustrating to see how digital and email are being abused with clients persisting to opt for low cost and high volume strategies.

"This should change thanks to the special blend of creative and technology that we offer because it is designed to optimise return on investment without ignoring brand sensitivities in respect of creative treatment."

The agency is in the process of signing clients, to be announced shortly.
