Opening today (12 February), the 'Olympic Rendezvous @ Samsung' was created for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver, the third Olympic project that Imagination has provided for the mobile phone giant.
It will remain open until the 24 February, when the event ends. Some 8,000 visitors a day are expected.
This is the third time Imagination has created an Olympic environment for the Samsung brand. Imagination and Samsung's global agency Cheil Worldwide have partnered on numerous experiential venues over their ten-year partnership.
"Recognising that the public is seeking better and more seamless engagement in all areas of their lives, we've created an opportunity for spectators and athletes to interact organically with the Olympic Games and with each other," said Imagination creative director of sports Sally Crabb.
"Our aim was to create a center for Samsung to add value to the visitors' Olympic experience, and a home-away-from-home for athletes and their families."
Olympic Rendezvous Pavilion will feature Samsung's latest products range. As yet un-annonounced entertainment and hospitality will be available for both visitors and athletes.
Games, athletic and design competitions, activities and displays from Samsung are expected to entice an influx of people.
