Visitors will be able to ‘test-drive' the new Focus through a virtual augmented reality cityscape, or customise their own Ford Ka with help from the team from Pimp My Ride (MTV France).

The motoring brand is using the show as a platform to introduce another model from its Global C-car product line-up.

More than 700,000 people are expected to visit the event, which runs until 14 March.

"For Ford at this year's Geneva Motor Show we are raising the bar on ‘content and engagement'. We're aiming to encourage people to have fun on the Ford stand while learning about all of the fantastic technology, design and sustainability stories that the latest Ford product range offers," said Imagination creative director Jordan Waid.

"Geneva is one of the most important international auto shows for Ford, and with the sheer volume of new products and technologies we are revealing this year, it is critical that we connect with all the visitors to our stand in an interesting and impactful manner," added Ford of Europe vice-president of marketing Paul Thomas.
