The 10k run aims to raise more than £10,000 for the charity that helps children in South Africa who have been orphaned by HIV/AIDS.
"Last year we raised £9,540, which translates into a huge amount of support – enough to provide care for more than 200 children at a Starfish project for a year," said Starfish UK chief executive Gavin Salmon.
"We’re hoping to better that figure this year, and with Ignite’s generous support, it’s definitely possible."
It is the third year that Ignite has organised the charity event and it will provide race markers, marshals, water stations and picnic bags.
