
The sponsorship will premiere in the UK on Virgin Media TV channel Living on Thursday (22 January).
Acuvue, a Johnson & Johnson brand, will sponsor the entire first run of the fifth series, which runs through to June. This is the first time that Acuvue has committed to a broadcast sponsorship.
US drama Grey's Anatomy is one of the top shows on Living and the channel will be premiering series five in the UK, closer than ever to the original transmission in the US.
The deal also includes online sponsorship of the Grey's Anatomy section on www.LIVINGtv.co.uk.
The partnership was brokered between Davina Barker, commercial development manager at IDS, and Emma Jagger at Carat Sponsorship.
