Ice Box Entertainments will focus on producing and installing ice sculptures, namely ice rinks, within retail sites along with a range of other prominent locations.
The company told Event it plans to enhance existing sites by adding extra ice elements, such as the 45 metre-long real ice slide, which was included at the Ice Festival at Liverpool ONE over the winter, as well as interactive entertainment and pop-up ice bars.
Increased demand for the company's services, as well as its recent involvement in the creation, production and operation of a range of projects over the 2014-15 winter season, have prompted the move.
Ice Box added that it is currently in discussions regarding several similar spaces, which if all goes to plan will see the business grow its winter festival event focus over the next two years.
Richard Elmer, managing director, Ice Box said: "Following three successful years of strategic growth, entering this market on the back of our core business and experience, we are now an established producer of live seasonal events and ice rink projects, which we intend to build on through 2015 and into the future."
Philip Hughes, creative director, Ice Box added: "Following our third winter season's success, operating and producing highly attended live events, collectively attracting over 200k visitors, we are now set to carry out expansion plans to our Ice Box Entertainment division.
"Our experience in creating original installations in ice around the UK, Europe and globally for major brands, has given us the scope and ability to create high quality ice related consumer events and Ice Box continues to lead the way. We are looking forward to a successful 2015."
