Andy Harrison and Alex Dugdale join the existing team who are supported by around 20 in-house technicians.

Harrison was part of the audio-visual technical crew at the ICC for nine years prior to his recent promotion and has established good working relationships with many of the ICC’s existing clients. He also played a large part in introducing Dynamic Image Projection and a new slide preview system, improving the level of service for clients.

Before joining the ICC Andy worked at sister venue the National Exhibition Centre as senior audio-visual technician for six years.

Dugdale joined the ICC from a production company, having worked at Imperial College London for seven years, initially as a technical assistant before quickly progressing to a managerial position. His experience of working in a busy environment on large-scale events stands him in good stead for the ICC’s larger conferences and the wide range of client requests.

Their role at the ICC is to work in partnership with event organisers to help them find innovate ways to achieve their objectives and realise their vision.

Allan Boyle, director of event services, group convention centres, said: "We are delighted to have further strengthened our offering at the ICC. We are always looking for ways to improve the service we provide for our clients, and both Andy and Alex have been appointed to increase the level of resource available and provide a greater pool of expertise.

"They are both extremely experienced and each brings their own unique qualities – Andy his practical knowledge of the venue and Alex a fresh perspective. I am extremely confident that alongside our established event management team they will provide new and existing clients with a service that is second to none."
