Jordan joins from Citigroup, where he was chief operating officer and chief technology officer for investment banking, equities and corporate services. At Dunnhumby, he will be responsible for developing the data solutions strategy across all territories. His job is a new role for the agency.
Before joining Citigroup, Jordan was a management consultant.
Clive Humby was recently named, along with Dunnhumby CEO Edwina Dunn, among the top five most powerful people in the data industry. He will continue to retain an active role in helping shape product strategy following his return to the chairman role.
Jordan said: "Clearly there are many challenges ahead in the management of data, particularly in areas such as data governance and information security."
Dunnhumby counts among its clients Tesco, Gillette and AirMiles.
