Annis joins Dunnhumby from Alliance Pharmacy, where he held the role of general manager for information delivery. Prior to this he worked for SAS UK & Ireland as head of technology.
Annis said: "Dunnhumby's insight adds real value for organisations, and I see a lot of potential still to be fulfilled in many companies in this regard. For this reason I am proud to be joining dunnhumby."
The Data Solutions Group manages more than 5bn pieces of data a week for Dunnhumby's clients, which include Tesco, Gillette, Procter & Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, Nestle, Unilever and Coca-Cola.

In May, Andrew Jordan was appointed group data solutions director at Dunnhumby, replacing Clive Humby, who continues as chairman, in the role.
