
The brand is asking consumers to make short films of no longer than two minutes featuring the crisps on the ends of their fingers. The Hoola Hoops and fingers can be 'dressed up' in order to differentiate them.
Films can be uploaded via a microsite.The promotion, created by Wax, will be backed up with a £1.5m TV campaign and will run on 50m packs. Prizes include a family holiday to Hollywood.
Additionally consumers will be able to win prizes voting for the films. To vote they need to enter an on-pack code.
Hula Hoops is not the first brand to offer consumers the chance to make their own film. In February to recreate its waterslide ad in miniature model form. The films were then placed on YouTube and judged by the public.
