HSBC has released a TV ad declaring its commitment to supplying mortgages to first-time buyers. It is the first work JWT has created for the brand since being reappointed to the account in August. The spot shows a father building a tree house for his daughter. However, the girl is not impressed by his first attempts, leading him to build an elaborate tree mansion. Olly Robinson and Paul Rizzello were the creative directors on the ad, which was directed by Jamie Rafn through Smuggler.
