
According to Homebase, it becomes the first DIY retailer to join the UK's biggest loyalty programme and the decision to ditch the Spend & Save scheme comes after research found consumers value Nectar more. Nectar will launch in Homebase stores this summer and consumers will still be able to earn and redeem Spend & Save rewards up until this launch.
Separately Nectar has also agreed a deal with comparison price website Confused.com to offer points to consumers on home and car insurance.
