Visitors to HMV's just have to click on the "Store Finder" tab at the bottom of the homepage and enter their street, town or postcode to access a list of the top five nearest stores, will full address details and a map pinpointing their location with HMV logos.
Steve Bailey, HMV's internet commercial manager, said: "The maps are delivered at sub-second speed and are easy to read, which is a real value add-on for our customers as they go about their busy, day-to-day lives."
Steve Frost, head of sales for Europe at Multimap, said: "In a recent survey, it was revealed that multi-channel customers spend up to 50% more than single-channel customers, so the more encouragement retailers give customers to shop across channels, the better."
Frost added that the provision of location information on retailers' websites is a fundamental part of this strategy.
"Customers can research products online, use our services to find their nearest store, and proceed to make the purchase in-store."
Multimap provides online maps to more than 8,000 clients including Tesco, Sainsbury's, Ford, Marks & Spencer, Robert Dyas, Argos and Nectar.
