Hilton introduces premium card to increase loyalty

LONDON - Hotel chain Hilton is launching a premium credit card using the identity of its Hilton HHonors reward programme to build customer loyalty at a difficult time for the travel and leisure market.

The chain will give bonus points to consumers spending money on the Platinum Card, which is being launched in partnership with HFC Bank.

The initiative is designed to encourage loyalty to the Hilton brand by offering exclusive services to members, such as complimentary upgrades, an HHonors reservation service and quicker check-in.

Twenty-eight million outlets worldwide will accept the Hilton HHonors Card; two bonus points will be earned for every £1 spent on the card.
