Hi-Media ad network to introduce real-time bidding

Hi-Media, the European online ad network and publisher, is enabling real-time bidding (RTB) on its inventory by partnering with the AppNexus platform.

AppNexus will provide Hi-Media with technology, allowing Hi-Media to enable its inventory for real-time bidding.

Cyril Zimmermann, chief executive and founder of Hi-Media, said he believed the initiative would fuel the company’s growth over the coming years.

He added: "We have been looking at different technological options to leverage our exclusive display inventory and to keep enlarging our reach by creating one of the leading ad exchanges in Europe,."

Hi-Media claims to reach 150 million monthly unique users.

It said that with the partnership, it is aiming to create one of the largest European ad exchanges, able to offer more than 20 billion monthly impressions in real-time bidding over tier-one sites, which are mostly among Nielsen’s top 300 sites.
