Hertz seeks a digital agency for web build

Ford Motor Company-owned car rental firm Hertz is searching for a digital agency.

The brand is drawing up a shortlist of agencies to work on a web-build project and online marketing. Agency Global Beach is one name involved.

A Hertz spokesperson confirmed: "Hertz is looking to appoint a digital agency to add to its roster." The rental firm is expecting to announce the result at the end of May.

Hertz claims to be the largest car rental company in the world. Established 80 years ago, it first launched its site in 1996 and upgraded it to a multilingual destination in 1999. The Hertz portfolio of sub-brands includes Hertz Car Sales.
