
He will report to Paul Frampton, the UK chief executive of Havas Media Group. Last week ±±¾©Èü³µpk10 revealed Frampton was promoted to the role, having previously been the UK chief executive of Havas Media.
Minshall will be tasked with attracting talent to the media agency group in the UK and Ireland, which comprises Havas Media, Arena, Forward Media, Havas Sport & Entertainment, AIS London and Arnold KLP.
As chief talent officer, Minshall will also oversee Havas Fusion, the group’s new diversity initiative which aims to ensure its employee demographic is reflective of its clients and consumers.
Minshall, who has a 20-year career in HR, joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 2014 as its group HR and talent director for the UK and the Nordics.
Before Saatchi & Saatchi, he worked at Lime Pictures and McCann Manchester, where he ran an award-winning apprenticeship programme for 16 to 25-year-olds on integrated marketing communications.
Frampton said: ‘‘Darren is a true specialist in his field and we’re delighted to have attracted someone of his calibre. His appointment reflects our continued investment in our people who are our number one priority."
Minshall will be replaced at Saatchi & Saatchi by Tanya Watkins, who has been promoted as the agency's senior talent partner for the UK.
