Harris Interactive appoints Salvoni as new European MD

LONDON - Harris Interactive has appointed Robert Salvoni as its UK and European managing director.

Salvoni replaces George Terhanian, who moved to the US earlier this year after being made Harris Interactive's president of global solutions.

Salvoni, who joins from Iris Accountancy Practice Solutions, where he was managing director, has a strong technology background -- for example, he was responsible for developing and launching the internet service provider BT Openworld.

Kimberley Till, Harris Interactive's president and chief executive, said: "[Robert] brings a strong track record in growing technology-based service businesses and is a motivational leader with strong client relationship development skills."

Salvoni said: "This role brings terrific opportunities and challenges, which I am looking forward to immensely."
