After using Top Cat to sell mortgages, Halifax is back with a new spot featuring Fred and Wilma from The Flintstones.

Adam & Eve/DDB created the spot, in which Fred and Wilma visit a branch of Halifax in search for a more modern bank and are told how easy it is to switch their accounts. The ad will break on TV on 7 June and air during the Euro 2016 opener between France and Romania. It was filmed in a London branch of Halifax (Old Broad Street) and features real members of staff as extras. Halifax and Adam & Eve/DDB acquired the licence to use the Flintstones characters from Warner Bros Consumer Products. They worked with the company to make the character designs as close to the original TV series, which aired between 1960 and 1966, as possible.
