Marketforce will begin distributing Hachette UK's magazines, which include Sugar, Elle and B, from March.
Vivien Cotterill, managing director of Hachette Filipacchi UK, said Marketforce offers Hachette "a route to market that is well established".
"The combined power and retail sales value of the Hachette titles and those at IPC Media will be of significant strength at newsstand and in the fight for category captaincy," Cotterill said.
The move is part of Hachette's continuing scuffle with Emap, which errupted earlier this year when Hachette hired former Emap CEO Kevin Hand to launch its UK operation.
Hand oversaw the acquisition of Attic Futura for £40m, which led to the company severing its joint venture publishing operation with Emap and taking control of Elle and Red magazines, among others.
The collapse of the joint venture has left Emap without a strong women's glossy magazine, although reports suggest that it is looking to launch a title imminently.
