Kerrigan joins from Critical Mass where he was creative director overseeing brands such as Gucci and Rolex. Prior to Critical Mass, Kerrigan worked as a creative director at Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide, working across accounts including Samsung Mobile, Scottish Widows and Fiat.

In his new role at GyroHSR Kerrigan will head up a team of over one hundred creatives and planners and will work across the agency's client roster including T-Mobile, American Express and Virgin Atlantic Airways.

GyroHSR chief creative officer Christoph Becker says: "In a word Ian is a total creative. While many started their career in TV and ended up in digital, Ian identified digital as the future when he started his career and moved across all channels.

"He has applied this forward thinking approach to everything he does and this made him the obvious choice for our executive creative director role".

. The digital agency was founded in 2000 by Richard Hammond. The Spirit Advertising brand no longer exists.
